Weddings
The fee for weddings in the Greater Dunedin (Dunedin City, Peninsula, Taieri, Karitane) area is $400, which includes a $100 deposit to secure your booking. The fee covers:
- An Initial Meeting
- This is a short meeting where we will discuss your wedding in general terms and I will give you a wedding information pack to assist you to begin thinking about and planning your ceremony. The key aim of this meeting is for you to meet me and consider whether or not you would like to have me as your celebrant. The ceremony is at the heart of the wedding and it is the part of the day that determines the success of the entire event. It is important that you feel your celebrant is the right one for you. If you decide, at this stage, that I am not the right 'fit' for you there is no charge.
- A Planning Meeting
- This is where we sit down together to plan and discuss the details of your ceremony. After we have done this I put your ceremony together and finalise it after consultation with you.
- A Wedding Rehearsal
- This is held at the venue sometime during the week before the wedding. Some couples choose not to have a rehearsal and although that is fine, it may still be helpful to get together for a coffee to check through those final details.
- The Wedding Ceremony
- I like to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins.
- An attractively presented Copy of Your Wedding Ceremony
Funerals
The fee for funerals in the Greater Dunedin area is $400 per ceremony
Other Ceremonies
The fee for other ceremonies in the Greater Dunedin area is $400 per ceremony
Out of Town Ceremonies
I consider the Greater Dunedin area to be between Karitane, Outram and Waihola, including the Peninsula. For ceremonies outside this area a fee for travel and accommodation (if necessary) will be negotiated.
